Newer car, extended warranty, now what?

If your car is covered by an extended warranty or service contract, the transmission may be one of the parts it covers. When it acts up, it helps to use a shop that knows how those claims work. We work with most warranty companies and help you through the claim.

• You bring the car in and we diagnose the problem.
• We help you file the claim with your warranty company.
• The warranty company decides what it will cover.
• We tell you what is approved and what, if anything, you would owe before work starts.
• When the claim is approved, we can bill the warranty company directly.

Commuter wear

Long highway commutes, plus stop-and-go traffic on local roads, put a lot of heat cycles on transmission fluid. Crossovers and SUVs often use CVTs or multi-speed automatics that depend on clean fluid in good condition. Watch for slipping, harsh shifts, a shudder, or a delay going into gear.

If you notice any of those, do not wait for the next oil change. A problem caught early usually gives you more choices, and some warranty contracts expect you to report a problem promptly.

Getting here from Miramar

State Road 7 runs north from Miramar all the way to the shop. If you prefer the highway, the Turnpike and I-75 both connect to I-595, which has an exit at State Road 7. Head north from there. We are a few blocks south of Broward Boulevard, on the west side of the road near SW 6th Street.

No warranty? Same process

If your car is not under warranty, nothing changes about how we work. We diagnose it, give you a written estimate, and lay out the choices: repair, rebuild, or a remanufactured, used, or OEM replacement. Rebuilds come with a written warranty.
