How pre-orders work.
Why do you need my VIN?
The same transmission name can come in different versions by year, engine and drive type. Your VIN tells us exactly which one your vehicle takes, so we build the right unit the first time.
When do I pay?
Only after we check your VIN and email your quote. The email has a secure Stripe payment link. Nothing is charged when you submit a request.
Are the prices final?
Listed prices are where each unit starts. Some years, engines and 4WD versions cost a little more. We confirm the exact price for your VIN before you pay anything.
How long does it take?
Most units are built to order and ready in about 4 to 6 weeks after payment. Need it sooner? Call us, we can often work something out.
What is the core deposit?
It's a refundable deposit added to your payment. When your old transmission comes back to the shop, we refund the deposit to your card.
How does shipping work?
Transmissions ship by freight. Once your unit is built, we email a freight quote for your ZIP code with a payment link, then ship with tracking. Local pickup at the shop is free.
Can you install it too?
Yes, if you're in South Florida. Choose pickup and call us to schedule the install at our shop on State Road 7.
